How to check your windows version

My Windows 7 tips and tricks for today is checking the windows version of your computer. It  is relatively easy by using the "winver" command. It tells you the exact build of the OS and also the service pack. To use winver command, press window key + R to  open Run dialog box and type winver and press ok. A about window message box will appear for the information. You can also use command prompt to check the same information and also by using winver command. Just open command prompt and type winver. The snapshot below is my pc with windows 7 professional.
