Many of us don't want others to mess around our online profiles right? Well facebook just did that, the primary contract email address that we post in out contact information has just been auto switch to @facebook. This is in relation to the facebook email promotion. Atleast facebook should inform their users before switching it right? For those don't want to use@facebook as their primary email contact details, follow this instructions to undo the auto switch done by facebook:
- Log in to your facebook timeline profile.
- Click About, then look for the Contact Info box and click edit on the upper right corner.
- A new box will appear with your email information on top, next to your email address are two small icons, click on the first icon to change your sharing preferences. Set it to Only Me if you don't want to share it.
- Click on the second icon to hide or show the information in your time line. Set it to Hidden from Timeline to hide.
- Click the Save button at the bottom when you're done.
